Solar storms, space junk and the formation of the Universe are about to be seen in an entirely new way with the start of operations today by the $51 million Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) radio telescope.

A new data analysis tool will be used by CAASTRO researchers at the Curtin University node of ICRAR to handle large quantities of data coming in from the new low frequency radio telescope, the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA).
