We are a vibrant research group interested in studying nearby galaxies using state-of-the-art facilities, with particular emphasis on the physics of the interstellar medium, star formation and how the environment where galaxies are located influences their evolution.
We offer projects under the general topic of gas and star formation in nearby galaxies, in particular making use of the ongoing WALLABY survey (https://wallaby-survey.org) on the Australian Square Kilometre Pathfinder and MAUVE (https://mauve.icrar.org) on the European Southern Observatoryʼs Very Large Telescope.
