My major areas of research are in the formation of massive stars, in particular through the study of interstellar masers. I am leading an Australian Research Council Discovery project to use a very long baseline array of radio telescopes to make measurements of the scale and structure of the Milky Way with unprecedented accuracy. I also have an interest in application of radio astronomy techniques and infrastructure for space domain awareness.
