I am a PhD student supervised by Prof. Kenji Bekki and Dr Luca Cortese. My interests lie in the physics of the interstellar medium, star formation, feedback processes, galaxy chemical evolution, dust formation and evolution, and the influence of dust on the galaxy chemical evolution. As a PhD student, my research focuses on interstellar dust formation and evolution and its impact on galaxies using hydrodynamical simulations and observations.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree major in physics from Khartoum University (Sudan) before moving on to obtain a Postgraduate Diploma in physics and mathematics from the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (Italy) and a Masters Degree in Astrophysics and Cosmology from Trieste University (Italy).
