Researchers Professor Andreas Wicenec, Dr Kenji Bekki and Dr Randall Wayth have all been awarded super computer time to not only further their own research, but also ‘stress test’ the new supercomputer.
Professor Wicenec will use his supercomputer time for his work on radio astronomy pathfinders, Dr Bekki will further his simulations of globular clusters and Dr Wayth will use Fornax to process data from the Murchison Widefield Array.
