ICRAR offers several options for students wishing to pursue postgraduate study – including PhD projects, Master’s courses and pre-project studentships – at each of our partner institutions.
Launched in 2009, ICRAR is a joint venture between Curtin University and The University of Western Australia with funding from the State Government of Western Australia. Our research focuses on three main areas: radio astronomy, data intensive science, and engineering with many research themes across these areas.
PhD Research
PhD opportunities are available at both of ICRAR’s joint venture partners, Curtin University and The University of Western Australia. Research projects are available across many areas of astronomy (both theoretical and observational), astronomy engineering and high performance computing.
