Astrofest 2024 invites entries to the Astrophotography Competition in accordance with the terms and conditions provided. Only entries which conform to these conditions will be considered.

Entries close 18 Augustst 2024 at 11:59pm AWST

 

  1. Fill in the YOUR DETAILS section at the top.
  2. Fill in at least one, and up to five entries, including image or video files. You may leave unneeded submissions blank.
  3. Read carefully and fill in the YOUR CONSENT section at the bottom page.
  4. Click the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the page. You will then receive a confirmation message and email.

If you don’t receive a confirmation message online or a confirmation email, please contact us ASAP to confirm your entry has been received.

Your Details

If you are under the age of 15 please provide an email address for a parent or guardian. Entrants under the age of 15 must have parental/guardian consent to enter.
Please list the individuals and organisations in the collaboration (for each applicable entry) if more than one person contributed towards the photograph. Refer to T&Cs if unsure.

  • Please make sure you include the date the photo/timelapse was taken in the technical description.
  • You may enter up to 5 different items (photos or timelapses). Entering the same photo in multiple categories counts as multiple entries.

Your Consent

By entering the Astrofest Astrophotography Exhibition 2024, your submissions can be used at Perth Astrofests as part of the Astrophotography Exhibition, online and in print in promotion of the exhibition and Astrofest, and in catalogues and other materials for the exhibition. You grant a non-exclusive, non-transferrable license for the organisers of the exhibition to reproduce your submitted photographs for purposes relating directly to the Astrofest Astrophotography Competition and Exhibition, by ICRAR, Astrofest or Astronomy WA.

You can also opt-in to other opportunities for your submitted images using the check-boxes above. If you don't opt-in to any other options, your images would only be used at Perth Astrofest (if they are selected for the exhibition).
